Kerry Wright

Pastor

Rev. Kerry Wright is in his first year as the pastor of Ebenezer UMC, having served the previous six years in the Mountville Charge near LaGrange.

He has spent his adult life in service, first as an educator and now as a minister. He taught and coached in both Fulton and Fayette counties before becoming an assistant principal at McIntosh High School. He entered the ministry upon his retirement in 2012; however, he continues to serve the school system on an interim basis as needed.

Kerry has a BS degree in English, a Masters’ degree in Administration, and an Educational Specialist’s degree in Leadership and Supervision. He is currently a student in the United Methodist Church’s Course of Study.

            Kerry is married to Sharon Wright, who is also a retired educator, having taught in both Fulton and Fayette Counties. Sharon serves as the Children’s Minister at Ebenezer.
